80 000 years b.c. Rain is pouring down.
Ika, Noah and two companions are sitting under a big rockface.
Ika seduces Noah, but while he is trying to take her "from the back", she slowly turns around and introduces the missionary position to him. At the same time, she presents him a prehistoric condom - a piece of gut with a knot tied at the end (Gesture: Never Without !). Noah looks very surprised and so do his companions.

"Am Anfang war . . ." uses a scene of Jean-Jacques Annaud´s original feature "Quest for Fire / La Guerre du Feu" (1981).

Editing and framing of the original scene were altered according to the new story. Two close-ups of Ika`s hand holding the "prehistoric condom" were filmed and combined with the original pictures.

Public perfomance is only allowed with regard to the theme "AIDS and Condoms" and noncommercial screenings at Filmfestivals. All rights of the Producer of the original film "Quest for Fire", the producer of the new version and the owner of the work are reserved. Unauthorised copying, hiring, lending, public performance, radio or TV-broadcasting of this video recording is prohibited.
